In early November 2023, James Esses, a psychologist, lawyer and writer from the UK, launched The Declaration of Biological Reality (UK).

In his words, that declaration “…is to demonstrate to those in power the strength of feeling that exists across the United Kingdom in terms of the detrimental impact of gender identity ideology.”

Phil Dye, bio HERE, realised that we needed something tangible like this in Australia.

As a past Educator is the School of Medical Sciences at UNSW, he had taught about human biology and the impossibility of ‘changing’ sex. While humans can cosmetically or surgically appear like their opposite sex, he’d occasionally quote author and Heritage Foundation Research Fellow Ryan Anderson…

“Sex change is physically impossible, psychosocially unhelpful, and philosophically misguided.”

Phil messaged James about an Australian Declaration and James was thrilled. “Every country needs one.” he said.

The Australian Declaration launched in late November 2023. The managing committee hope the Declaration reaches 10,000 signatures before the end of 2024. Please share the link and don’t forget to sign. Management Committee details and the Constitution can be found HERE.

The Declaration is a fully Incorporated Association under NSW Law INC2400238

Signatories have no membership or obligation, yet support the Declaration’s aims which are:

  1. To act as a register where Australians can express their concern about the impact of gender ideology on society.
  2. To raise funds to cover the administration of the Declaration.
  3. To raise additional funds to promote biological reality in Australian society.
