Most of our nearly 6,000 signatories don’t want any further involvement. That is absolutely fine. Some though, have asked how they can help. We’re building a set of resources for signatories who want to help inform the public.
Resource 1: A presentation for those in a service club, women’s group, sports club, church group etc.
Some signatories have asked if they can present to their local Lions or Probus Club. The Declaration Committee have presented to U3A and generated great interest and positive discussion. Presenting locally to an organisation you know is a great way to spread the word.
We’ve created a PowerPoint presentation that you can use in most public education scenarios. Feel free to adjust the presentation for your audience and please let us know where you have presented.
